Dominik grew up in Switzerland near Basel, attended school in the USA for two years, and then completed his studies in hotel management in Montreux.
He worked in various establishments, taking a few months off occasionally to travel, which has always been his greatest passion.
When he turned 30, he decided to retrain and became a certified paramedic.
Anna was born in Germany and moved to Switzerland at the age of four. With her German-Swiss-Italian roots, she was exposed to various cultures early on.
After finishing school, she took a break to explore the world by camper and sailboat.
After this break, she studied nursing science in Bern, and then worked as a certified nurse on the Neurology/Stroke Unit at Basel University Hospital.
“Together, Anna and Dominik spent two months in a clinic in Tanzania. During this time, the idea was born to support more clinics with medical supplies and training.”
